Vespa VBB - 10" Wheels 5 Port Electric Start Motor

Vespa VBB's. Originally made in India under license from Piaggio, these original 1960’s scooters have been completely refurbished. While it uses a vintage frame that is the about the only thing left of the bike that is not new. They have as new 5-port 150cc motors with electric start (although you can still kick start the bike as well), they’ve also been converted to run ten inch tires instead of the original eight inch size.

This is quite and advantage over stock VBB’s. These were originally designed as an economy model, while in the same time period the GS’s were being produced as the larger faster sport model. By switching to a more powerful motor and larger wheels you get much of the same performance and handling of the Gran Sports, and still maintains the very curvy aesthetic of these early models. A GS150 or GS160 in the same kind of condition would sell for $8,000 - $10,000, so if you’re not looking for a collectors item but still want to ride a nice classic bike this is a very good choice.

We have tried to maintain the closest appearance to how these bikes would have looked if they had come off the factory floor in 1965, but some accessories are available. We are offering these bikes with several optional upgrades at extra expense. Options upgrades include either a bench or saddle seat w/ rack, Chrome rims, Front racks, Rear racks, White wall or sport tires.
